Indexer for Firefox is live

The Indexer extension is now available for Firefox, with the same privacy-first bookmark workflow as Chrome.

The Indexer extension is now available for Firefox.

This means you can use Indexer from Chrome or Firefox while keeping the same core workflow: save bookmarks, organize them into folders, search later, and optionally connect the extension to your Indexer account.

What changed

  • Firefox extension support is available.
  • Extension onboarding explains bookmark access, sync, privacy, and data ownership.
  • Remote sync remains optional and is controlled by the user.

Why it matters

Indexer is meant to work where you browse. Firefox support makes the product more useful without changing the privacy stance: you own the content you save, Indexer does not sell personal data, and sync is only used to provide the service.

What is next

  • Better sync troubleshooting messages.
  • Clearer device-limit states for free and Pro users.
  • Continued cleanup of the extension settings experience.
