Terms of Use
These terms explain the basic rules for using Indexer, including who owns saved content and the limited license we need to run the service.
Acceptance of Terms
By using Indexer, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These terms apply to the web app, related websites, and Indexer Extension.
Use of the Service
You may use Indexer only in a lawful and reasonable way.
You are responsible for your account, your saved content, and the activity that happens through your use of the service.
User Content
You may submit or save content such as links, titles, notes, tags, folders, and other materials through the service.
You are responsible for making sure you have the rights needed to save, upload, or share that content.
Ownership and License
You own the content you save to Indexer.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display your content only as needed to operate, maintain, and improve the service for you.
We keep all rights in the software, branding, and service itself.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the service in a way that breaks the law or violates others’ rights.
- Upload malicious code, spam, or harmful content.
- Interfere with the service, its infrastructure, or other users.
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
- Use automation or scraping in a way that abuses the product.
Service Availability
We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.
We aim to keep Indexer available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.
Disclaimers
Indexer is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent allowed by law, Indexer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill.
Our total liability for any claim related to the service will be limited to the amount you paid us for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if your use creates risk, violates these terms, or harms the service or other users.
Sections that should reasonably survive termination will continue to apply, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and payment obligations.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves.
If we make a material change, we will update the effective date and may provide notice through the product or by email.
